Theo & Sebastian who are brothers, started Smiths in the middle of a pandemic! We are seriously passionate about patties and are based in Bourton-On-The-water, also known as ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. Our restaurant sits circa 30 guests making it a small, exclusive place to come and eat. Since opening, we have made it our mission to get our hands on the best possible ingredients. We also use dry aged beef with a great fat content supplied by Aubrey Allen, which marries up with our strong, unique flavour combinations giving you the ultimate bite! We cant forget about or delightful buns, which are handmade daily by a wonderful local baker. All the flour used for our buns is made up of Cotswold flour sourced from local farmers.

We also pride ourselves on having a vibrant cocktail scene. All of our cocktails are bespoke to us and our syrups and flavourings are made in house!

Amazing burgers and an interesting selection of various ales and beers. Service was prompt and very friendly. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with incredibly tasty food. Definitely going again.

Wow - what a lovely late afternoon lunch.. the burgers were as epic as ever.. and we got our first spell in the new courtyard garden - which is idyllic. We had a brilliant time. Thanks as always.

Thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service was great. The friendly staff tweaked our order to make it perfect and even moved us to better seats when the opportunity arose. And what a lovely setting to eat a dirty burger in!

Fine if you’re happy to wait almost an hour for a burger. We arrived earlier than our reservation time, took about 15 minutes to get our order taken and then another 40 minutes to get our order. The burgers were fine but definitely not worth the wait. When we highlighted this to two different staff members, we didn’t really get an apology until we reiterated the long wait. We were told that the restaurant doesn’t rush orders and apologised for the wait, which was appreciated, but I think it would have been nicer not to effectively request an apology.

After a very long walk with our dog we were starving and craving a burger (very rare for me as a vegetarian but a quick check of the menu confirmed they did a vege/vegan burger) and we were delighted to discover Smith's was dog friendly. The staff were absolutely lovely, despite it bring very busy they were so friendly and chatty. The place has a lovely ambience too. We had quite a long wait for our burgers but when they arrived they were really delicious. It's not cheap for a burger but worth it for a treat. Would definitely recommend!
