The shrimp cocktail is huge! Get the 3 count if you want to finish your entree. Service is always good and we were not rushed to order. Cocktail pour is generous! Only disappointment was the bread. Usually is is buttery and moist. This time it was dry. Fillets cooked to order!

Sat in a section of the restaurant off to the left, we we place next to a double exit that went to a hallway even though there were plenty of other tables. Terrible from an ambience perspective, this is supposed to be a high end steak house. I frequently go their excellent location in Boston but this location is terrible in comparison. The speciality bar drinks were average, would not order any of the 3 we tried if we visit again. We found ourselves struggling with space on the table as the wait staff did not collect completed bread, appetizer and salad plates. Very strange that they don’t clean crumbs off the table before the main course or the dessert. We got signature filets and NY Strip steaks, all were cooked to our preference, they were all good not great. Truffle fries were ok but would not order the brussel sprouts again. Wellesley square is a great location for a quality steak house but this in not cutting it compared to capital grille in chestnut and other S&W locations.

Food and service was top-notch. We had a fantastic 16th birthday dinner for our son. Not somewher we can afford to eat regularly, but for a special occasion it was worth the splurge.
