Pricey food with medium love into the side orders. I have the feeling the main focus is the meat and chef has little focus making the sides great. Missing a sauce But everything else was a success

group of 6. Our 4 side dishes were not delivered with our steaks. Asked the server to check on them. She never came back to give us an update and we were unable to get her attention because she was working on other tables. After 15 minutes we flagged down a different server. 5 minutes later they arrived. Some of our guests had already eaten their steaks concerned about them getting cold. The manager came over and apologized and comped the sides. Had been there in the past but won't go back.

I really enjoyed my experience at Smith & Wollensky . The service was great. I encountered a few issues. First my wife food came out wrong and I had an issue that occurred when I came to cleaning the table. The guy removed our food and trashed it after we asked for it to be place in a box to go. He seemed like he was in a rush and didn’t hear us clearly.

We celebrated my son's 30th birthday and had a fantastic evening!! The wait staff was extremely attentive and went above and beyond. Each of us ordered steaks and were so impressed with the flavor and presentation. Would definitely come here again!

I was publicly embarrassed, humiliated and made to feel like a criminal . As an African American female I dine out alone many times and have never had this experience. When it came time to pay my card was on my phone and needed a card reader to process . The waiter said he’d be right back then things got weird The manager the assistant mgr the head account all came over to e press to me they did not have a card reader and could not process my form of payment Can you call someone can you send someone to get your purse or actual card this went in fir Uber 1/2 hour I had a headache upset stomach and at this point just wanted to leave but was told I could not until I found a way to pay the bill I have never been in this situation and since it was the restaurant fault fir not being able to process because they did not have the proper equipment The whole experience was awful never going ba k No apology nothing just pay this bill or else

Great dinner for a Saturday Night Splurge! A little loud but the service, food, and view of the river were impeccable. We came into town and were able to reserve for the next night. Would highly recommend! P.S. Foodies - try the bone marrow!

The view over the river is quite nice. The food was very good, we had the filet, the American Waguy and the octopus. Everything was great. The steak was ordered medium and came out rare, but the staff took care of it easily and we really enjoyed our meal.
