Took 40 mins to get a drink. No bread until asked 3 times. Got a new server. He was great! He definitely turned the experience around. Thank you Dennis!

We drove from Worcester to have Christmas Eve dinner at Smith & Wollensky in Burlington after discovering that every (every) nice/high-end restaurant in Worcester ("we're the second largest city in New England!") was closed on December 24. The drive was well worth it as we discovered a wonderful new place for high-end dining: Smith & Wollensky! As noted in our star ratings, the food was top notch, as was the service and ambiance. Furthermore, even the noise level was decidedly low, which allowed for pleasant conversation -- a huge plus for my wife, who is very hard of hearing (even with two cochlear implants) and a big, big difference from any of the big-name restaurants in Worcester. All-in-all, having Christmas Eve dinner at Smith & Wollensky was a treat for us, no matter how you look at it. We will definitely return and we recommend that you go there, too!

Great atmosphere with dimmed lightning and despite being packed, the sound level was more than acceptable allowing for intimate conversation without feeling overwhelmed by noise. The service was exemplary from start to finish. Our waiter was not only attentive but also knowledgeable, providing insightful recommendations that elevated our meal. A visit from the restaurant manager (Brian) added a personal touch to the evening, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction and enhancing the overall experience. The culinary offerings were outstanding. The Gorgonzola crusted filet mignon was a standout dish for me; perfectly cooked to medium-rare, it boasted a rich flavor profile complemented by the tangy Gorgonzola that added depth without overpowering the meat. Additionally, the tuna tartar was fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the quality of ingredients that Smith & Wollensky is known for. To round that out, you cannot go wrong with the baked mac and cheese, and/or the whipped potatoes, both of which went extremely well with the filet. The wine selection was also staggering, but the accompanying ipad w/ wine selection app made us able to sort through our preferences very easily and the vanilla blueberry mules were perfectly stiff. In summary, this dining experience was flawless—combining an elegant atmosphere, attentive service, and exceptional cuisine to create an extremely nice dining experience

This was our first time dining at Smith & Wollensky and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding. I only eat fish and the tuna was perfection. My husband ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly. We will definitely return for another fabulous meal.

Second time here for lunch where the salads and burgers are both plenty to share. We went at noon on a Saturday so pretty empty and nice and quiet where we met friends. Efficient and polite service with delicious food.

My two guests and I had the prime rib, petit filets, and signature filets, along with the carrot salad, onion strings, Smoked Pineapple cocktail, and the Lavender Vanilla Mule cocktail. Everything was delicious, the food was brought out quickly, and dirty dishes were removed promptly. It was an expensive dinner ($316 before tax) but its deliciousness made it worthwhile.
