   First time eating here. Easy with making reservations with open table. Checked in and got seated right away! Pretty packed on this Easter Sunday but good vibes + it’s 5pm somewhere, so ordered a few “drinks” at 10:30am for brunch. Server was delightful and made some nice suggestions on drinks.

   Service was excellent! Taken care of at all times. Food was good, has been better in the past. Think they just needed a little more time to get ready. Grits were creamy and delicious, eggs were perfect on the Benedict. Highly recommend the breakfast shot. Overall 8/10 experience and will go back.

   It was great overall! But they had hiccups with tables and moved us twice. I saw them move a table that was deep into their time there because of DJ coming in. Twice the server brought over the wrong dish-supposed to go to different table. But I’ll be going back!

   I enjoyed it. It was a lot more low key than I thought. Jeans and a tee are perfect for this watering hole. I’d go again and again.

   We went for brunch. The food is exceptional. Service was fast and staff are very nice. A little cool inside, but overall five stars. Will be back again.

   We went to Smith & Kings for our first time and it wont be our last. The food, service, and vibe were all great!

   As usual, the service and the food is always great. We had a reservation for a high top table but they gladly adjusted with our service dog. The service was prompt and friendly. I always love their drinks and food. My only complaint is the cornbread was super dry. The bacon jam had a funny taste to it and didn’t compliment the cornbread well. Other than that everything else was delicious. Definitely one of my go to brunch spots.

   Everything was great. Only problem was there was only one server for the entire restaurant. Place was a little busy. He had to man the bar as well as the floor. So service was a bit off. Not bad. Just a little off

    I have been to New Orleans and other restaurants that feature cuisine from there. Smith & King can take on any of those restaurants! We had the Cajun fish and grits. Excellent fresh fish w awesome seasoning with creamy grits Bisquits and gravy - onoliciois. For Sunday brunch, you can order a half liter of brut and your choice of juices to mix for a mimosa. It’s perfect because you control the proportions. The service staff and manager are friendly, efficient and delightful. It’s one of those gems in downtown Chinatown that you want to support. We will make it a regular local hang out and a place to bring visitors.
