   My husband and I thought it would be fun to take our adult granddaughter to smashing grapes for dinner while she was in town for the weekend. It was a good choice, the ambience and service were very good and the noise level allowed us to chat easily. We enjoyed the wine and the food very much, except for my granddaughter‘s entrée, which was the steak frites.  My husband, and I also sampled it and agreed that it was extremely chewy and not very flavorful or juicy. At $32, I t’s one of the less expensive entrées, and I suspect my granddaughter ordered it because she was being sensitive to price for our sakes. My husband had a lobster bisque and Branzini , I had a beef carpaccio and lamb chops, and my granddaughter also had the Caesar salad. All of those were excellent and beautifully presented. We were overcharged for a bottle of wine, which we only ordered because the bottle price was so reasonable compared to the per glass price. Our waitress was very apologetic and quickly corrected it so it was no problem, but we don’t always study the bill carefully and easily could have missed the error. All in all I t was a good experience and we’ll go back.

   Our server, Alexis, was absolutely incredible. From her fantastic food and drink recommendations to her wonderful personality, we will definitely be back and request her. Everything we ate and drank was amazing. Highly recommend for a date night or special celebration.

   I've dined at Smashing Grapes for dinner and for lunch. Today, lunch was quieter than evenings I've dined at SG. Pasta is made in house and is excellent. The short rib and pasta is EXCELLENT!

   noise level was nice - rare to find that - our party of 4 discussed it decor was excellent lighting excellent food very good, I reserve 5 stars for really great "destination" food wait staff a 6 out of 5, amazingly good helpful subtly entertaining Sunday brunch a success with whole family happy absolutely WILL return

   For my seafood omelette the eggs were overcooked. I had to ask for the chipotle crema sauce that my friend got with her braised short rib hash. Her hash came out with three pieces of short ribs. However, two pieces were extra fatty. They redid her entree and it came out much better. The donuts were delicious.

   This is the second time going here. The first time was absolutely amazing. The second time.. not so much. Our server was rude and lacked service skills. He checked on us a few times and disappeared. The manager on duty was no better and seemed like she could use some training. The food was also mediocre. I was not pleased and feel as though this establishment will not last.

   Smashng Grapes is holding its position as one of my favorite places. Our Server, Lucia was amazing. And our regular Server, Courtney stopped by our table twice to check on us even though she was not available to work our table tonight. The new hostess, Yasmeen was simply delightful. We love Smashng Grapes for the food but more for the service! It's so consistently wonderful!

    Eden the waitress was lovely! Food was very mid and the lamb shank was so dry. We got a seafood type of pizza and it was okay. The seabass and lobster ravioli was GREAT! Seabass was nice and crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside.
