Thank you for choosing SLYCE, where pizza is our passion. We have preserved the art of making hand crafted artisanal coal fired pizzas. Our mission is simple: Have a simple menu that allows us to focus special attention to every ingredient that comes into our building. We choose and use the best quality ingredients possible. We do not believe in premade, mass produced food. We source locally grown or raised products whenever possible and use one of the cleanest natural burning resources to heat our ovens. At SLYCE less is more, as our fresh ingredients are delicately placed, not piled on, to create a perfectly balanced pie. Our dough is made in house daily, hand stretched to order, and baked next to a burning pile of coal giving it a thin, bubbly crust with charred edges and leopard spotting on the bottom. So sit back and relax, as we hand craft you one of your favorite, perfectly charred pies.

Excellent food and service as always. Top notch on the details, such as, you get a frosted glass with your sparkling water (that way you don’t need ice because we know what ice does to sparkling water). Everyone there is super nice there. My family goes often and loves it.

We were seated in the back room and I prefer the main dining area with windows. We had an excellent server and delicious food. We even ordered sandwiches to take home for the next day. They were out of a couple draft beers that I like and I ended up with a choice that wasn’t great for me. That was the only disappointment.

We went for my birthday to have exceptional pizza. Which we would’ve had if they’d had gluten free crust. Slyce has the kind of premium cheese and toppings that can’t be found unless you travel into Chicago.

Place was great but it was a really long wait for both service and food. They burnt one of our pizzas so I figured they would’ve comped it but instead we got a free scoop of gelato that we really didn’t want. Over all 3.5 but I gave it a 4 cuz the pizza was really good.

I’m sorry to say this but we have been going to Slyce for years we started going to Wauconda for years then went to Vernon Hills because it’s closer but since Nicole & Mike left the place just isn’t the same. Our pizza was burnt & the service was very slow. . My daughter asked for extra cherries for her kiddie cocktail they gave her one & said they use them for cocktails so she could only have one. I was just very disappointed.
