We arrived to be told we didn’t have a table booked despite having a confirmation from Open Table to say we had. The Slug and Lettuce said they don’t use Open Table to place bookings and it’s not valid!!

The food was good but could’ve been hotter and the meat quality of the steak also could’ve been better . The drinks were great and so was the pudding . The staff were also nice.

Staff were very helpful , considerate and pleasant. Seated us in a quieter area as requested as sister has Alzheimer’s and loud noises upset her .

At least 10 minutes after ordering food we were told there would be 40 minutes delay before food arrived as there was a big order before us . Apparently we should have been told at time of ordering. We were going to the theatre so couldn’t wait for such a long time . Had to leave and go elsewhere 🙁

I really enjoyed my meal at Slug and Lettuce. They had a type of meal deal on.(not advertised that I saw ) I got a pint of Peroni and Bacon and Cheese Burger for £11,it was really great. Even at full price it would still have ben great. I will be back.

Amazed to get such a good deal with the after work promotion - 2 sirloin steaks with fries and 2 glasses of wine for £22!

Value for money is good, ingredients missing from cocktails with no one saying anything when bringing to the table which was a bit awkward. Food was fine.

We did eat all the food that came, but it was the wrong food, it took forever and the service was rude and poor. Won't be returning.
