Slug and Lettuce Edinburgh arrived on George Street on the 6th May 2015.

Slug & Lettuce George Street Edinburgh is a cool and contemporary bar, newly established on the city’s prestigious George Street. Our aim is to attract those seeking high quality food and cocktails in a stylish environment.

Join us for a leisurely or working lunch, afternoon meetings or simply recharge your batteries after a hard day shopping! Our food Menu is served daily from 10am until 10pm including Sundays.

We are a family friendly bar with a children's menu being served up until 8pm. Please be aware that children must be off the premises by 8pm due to licencing conditions.

21st birthday We waited 45 for food then waited another 45 to the cancel our drinks I still have not been refunded for my drinks which were £35

Great cocktails. The atmosphere is on point. We took a million pictures in the photo booth. Amazing night.

Absolutely terrible experience here! Everyone recommended them because they had good cocktails so we gave it a try and we wont be back as we are still waiting to try the cocktails! Placed our order through the app and our cutlery came straight away… our food 40/50 minutes later and not all at the same time!! One of our party got theirs 10 minutes before everyone else so had to eat it before it got cold and our drinks… still waiting for them! after chasing them up multiple times we had to go to who we believe was the manager and he gave us a refund. The place was extremely understaffed

Service was slow. Our drinks took an hour to come after asking several times. Food was cold and missing ingredients. Couldn’t talk to each other as music was uncomfortably loud!!! Won’t be back. I wish this venue would go back to the living room as it was so lovely

Had to order everything through the app but couldn’t get internet connection at our table so had to walk to the front door to be able to connect to the internet to order. Waited 25 mins for drinks order. We weren’t the only ones having trouble. Food was nice but just not a great set up. Won’t be rushing back.

Music to loud and lights turned off while eating dinner. Staff only interested In serving drinks. Had to ask for cutlery and salt. Service was shocking.
