My husband and I went here on our anniversary after visiting the Norton Simon Museum. It was our first time at the Pasadena location. We expected a bustling, active scene, but we were not too happy to find out that there were absolutely no seats that did not face a TV showing either the NBA finals or a motorcycle auction (really?). We were expecting the old menu which allowed personalized/customized burgers, but apparently that ended when the chain was sold and franchised--a huge disappointment. The burgers and garlic fries were as delicious as we remembered, but the menu is no longer unique or special. All in all, I would return for a quick bite or an upscale burger, but not for a romantic date night.

We went here before a concert. They said they didn’t have any white wine and then after we all ordered something else, they showed up with a bottle of white. Too late. Also, food was cold and tasted bland. Maybe they were just busy because of the concert but it just wasn’t a good experience overall.

Our waitress was amazing! We came on a very busy night, there was a taylor swift concert at the rosebowl and she made sure we had our food and had plenty of time to get to our conversation concert.

We were seated by the hostess at a table that was one chair short and she said she didn't realize how many of us there were. We were also seated right by the front door and the draft was very cold. This was Mother's Day so it would of been nice to have a nicer experience. Service was slow and food was just average.

Went in for a Mother’s Day Celebration! It started off well as far as getting our drinks, our appetizer and order in but service by our server was slow and frustrating. Had to ask him multiple times for things. At the end, he asked us if we had room for dessert and we indicated no and that we were done. All our plates were empty. We were waiting for the check but waited over five minutes for it. Then he came by again asking if we were all done and responded again and asked for the check. He dropped it off quickly, but when we had our payment out, he walked by it three times and ignored it. So we had to flag him down. Kind of a poor service experience for our first visit but the FOOD WAS AMAZING!

Food very heavily salted, to the point where neither of us could eat fries. Patty with bacon in it extremely salty and very tough. Chocolate shake was good. Heather, our server, was amazing! Saved the meal for us by being treated so pleasantly. Probably won't go back again.

server was great, but brunch buffet was really bad. the food was cold and soggy and the coffee was old. Seems like they just started their brunch buffet so perhaps they were just getting their feet wet with it...definitely needs improving!

The food was good but they took forever to bring it out to us & it wasn’t that busy when we went. When they finally did bring the food our order was wrong & our waiter didn’t come around for us to tell him. We just ate it & left. Probably won’t be coming back

In my honest opinion the food was subpar. I had always envisioned a more awe inspiring burger. Alas we were greatly disappointed. The food was so heavily salted my wife and I kept consuming water to alleviate the parched feeling in our mouths. I guess one can say it took our palates on a Subsaharen trip to the dessert. Food was prepared quickly. We had ordered the slater's animal fries, original slater and the B.B.B. all which were doused with salt burnt brioche buns gave evey bite sent us into further depth of horrid. I am sure the management team will compell servers to correct the issue. Overall I genuinely wished it was better.
