At Slate, their sushi rivals their prime rib. My dinner special had both! Absolutely outstanding with excellent and friendly service from Teri.

Prime Rib and Chardonnay Chicken were very, very good. Caesar salad was ok- it had kale mixed in and I’m not a fan of kale. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Love the interior of the restaurant. Looking forward to going back and trying other menu items.

Booth was ready when we arrived… the hostess acknowledged us with a great smile.. our waitress arrived immediately for us to order our marvelous drinks and dinner orders a bit later. . Our meal was excellent and plated vey beautifully. I will definitely recommend this to all my friends and return myself. Everything was fantastic. A 5 star for sure. Harris

I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for something different within Ventura County area. Prime rib was a hit cooked to perfection along with excellent service.

We ate outside and were very happy. Inside was way too noisy. Sushi was very fresh and generous portion. Drinks were fairly pricey.

Fantastic food and fantastic service! The restaurant itself was perfect. The seating for two people was intimate and better than most restaurants.

Our server was phenomenal. She was very attentive and quick to provide anything we asked for. The food, as always, was delicious, and everyone at our table was very satisfied.

The music was WAY too loud and made our first experience very unpleasant. We couldn’t enjoy our conversation with our friends. Not sure if we’ll come back.
