The noise level is high as there is nothing to dampen it. The food was very good, however they have changed their menu and deleted their delicious Brussel Sprouts. I enjoy the place and have been there several times. The service was slow as our dining experience took 2.5 hours.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience at Slate and highly recommend it!! The service was fantastic from Bre our server (one of the best ever!) to her team which quickly brought our drinks and dinner to the Manager Ashley who checked in on us too. The Caesar salad and clam chowder were wonderful and the Slate sushi roll was a delight!! We shared a magnificent Tomahawk steak that was accompanied by Hasselback potato and four yummy sauces!! We finished a birthday dinner with butter cake and crème brûlée.

We went for their July 4th Prime Rib special. It did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection and only $29!! The sides were equally delicious, fresh green beans with roasted garlic cloves, plus either mashed or Hasselback potatoes. I had one and husband had the other, both were yummy. Oh! Dessert too! All around a great dinner! I have to mention our server, Breanna! She was so sweet and so efficient too!

Visiting the Camarillo area, we were given Slate as a dining option. It did not disappoint. We sat outside under a heating element and were quite cozy as the sun set. Our server, Teri, was outstanding. Attentive at the right moments, helpful with local information, and an ambassador for Slate. Her support team delivered and removed plates, refilled waters, and ensured we were in a great place at all times. After an initial cocktail, we dove right into our mains. Both the Chardonnay Chicken and the Mushroom risotto were very, very good. Right amount of food, great textures and tastes, and beautifully prepared and plated. Due to our schedule, we had to pass on dessert. Great setting on the patio, outstanding service, and great food. We may go back again before we depart early next week.

Wonderful food from the Prime Rib, to blackened chicken to the wedge salad. Our waitress was the best! So on top of it. Lovely decor. We will be back!

Great food as well as service. Pricey foods but for the portions, flavor and variety along with the service from the staff this restaurant is worth it. Great for first dates, anniversaries, birthdays, or just a night out. Definitely will go again

Nice evening with excellent service. There were a couple of things we were looking forward to that they no longer offer as the new chef made a few changes to the menu. Our apps were fantastic! We decided to try the sushi menu and it didn’t disappoint.

The Bone-in Tomahawk steak is to die for! 2nd time doing the dinner for 2 and love it! Excellent quality and service!
