    Skylon's New Year's Eve celebration features an unbeatable view of River Thames , a live band, a DJ and a 5-course menu . Enjoy a 5-course menu for £375 per person. The menu is designed to keep you fed and entertained from 6:30pm right through to the midnight, as you see out 2024 we will have live band. Please note this is the only menu available, We require a prepayment in full to secure this reservation (per person). We offer a full refund policy if the booking is cancelled 72 hours before. Minors under 10 are not allowed for the evening. Kids menu £175pp. Guests must arrive before 8pm in line with South Bank Centre security protocol.

    We had a dinner before the theatre which although on the face of it was ok value the quality of the food wasn’t as expected.

    Skylon offers exceptional service and food which was very good value for money. It had a very relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying our family get together

    Very poor overall waiter cant get wine right Food was cold and some portions were ridiculously small Icecream instead of 3 scoops came as 2

    Fabulous staff, the reception lady did her best to find us a window seat overlooking the city which she didn’t have to, we were then greeted by a very attentive and pleasant waitress who made the experience comfortable, we were expecting the usual , slight snobbery one tends to find at these expensive establishments but she was very kind a patient. My only regret was not bringing physical cash to tip the servers and reception lady as they won’t allow tipping via the card. 5/5.

    Cracking, if a tad expensive. View is awesome. Food was really good, especially the franzipane tart. Would definitely go again.

    Food was not hot and service was pleasant but had to ask for the wine to be served as it is not left on the table. Unlikely to return.

    It was obvious there was a new chef. We are regular visitors to Skylon during the winter months and the standard has normally been very good. This was our first visit this year and was very disappointing. The Caesar salad was not much better than a supermarket variety. Too much dressing resulting in soft lettuce. No taste of anchovy in the dressing. Tasteless chicken. The cod was just about acceptable but nothing special. The separate order of tries was lukewarm. The only good thing was the off menu dessert of plum tart with plum sorbet. Also the waiter kept pouring wine far too quickly.

    There was a mouse!! Running around the restaurant. And the staff said it was nothing to worry about!! I felt like I was in Ratatouille
