Skyline offers exceptional views of Downtown Lynchburg from both inside and out. You’ll enjoy comforting food, exceptional service, and a cozy atmosphere when you dine here. This contemporary rooftop bar offers a lively environment for enjoying good food with good friends.

Skyline offers reservations for indoor dining only. Outdoor and covered patio seating may be available, weather permitting. Please call to enquire about reservations for 7 or more guests. Unfortunately, due to the size and layout of our restaurant, we will be unable to accommodate reservations for 11 or more guests without prior management approval. In order to maintain the level of service and quality of experience that all of our guests expect, we reserve the right to remove duplicate reservations, and multiple reservations made under the same name or phone number.

The food was fantastic! The service was excellent! I had forgotten what a gem of a place this restaurant is. Will definitely have to get by more often!

I went to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday and first semester in college. Our server Victoria was all smiles, friendly and went above and beyomd to make sure our time there and her dessert was special. We were the first guest at 4:00 so the restaurant was quiet. I would definitely go back.

Fried oysters were just wonderful. Drinks great. Entrees were served hot and were perfect in all ways. Our server was great and so were all the staff. Great destination restaurant, way to go!! We will back in the fall!

Restaurant was nice, cool spot. Service was good besides the fact she never told us about any specials and then we over heard other servers telling tables about some great specials we prob would have ordered… if we hadn’t already ordered…. So we ordered items off the menu. The stuffed trout was burnt with no seasoning…. My Cajun seafood and grits was awesome and our fried oyster app and cocktails were amazing! We will definitely be back…

We went for our anniversary. I requested on OpenTable to be sat by a window, but that didn’t happen (which I know wasn’t guaranteed). We were seated quickly, but the seat had a high lip, which wasn’t comfortable for my big hips and it was so loud that I couldn’t hear my husband talk. It had rained earlier, so people who would have been outside were all inside. They were going to happily move us to a table with different chairs, but it was still inside, in the middle of the space & loud. I very nicely let the waitress know my concerns & told her we were going to leave. She let the manager know & he came over. I told him the same thing & he asked us to let them try to fix it. He got a table ready outside under the awning (that had been close enough to the edge of the awning that it had gotten wet during the downpour), wiped it down, dried it off, moved different chairs to the space & had us come out. He then brought us 2 glasses of champagne for our anniversary, which was so nice. The experience ended up being completely turned around & we had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious & enough that I brought some home. The service was amazing. They even brought a plate that said “Congratulations” on it when they brought out our dessert. I know the rain wasn’t an ideal situation and changed the dynamic of the seating arrangements, which contributed to the noise level. If it’s raining and you’re looking for something quiet & romantic, *I* would choose to go another time. If we’d left, we planned to go back another time to try it again. I’m really glad we stayed. It was quieter outside and, even though the rain made it look dreary outside, it was nice. It was a great anniversary dinner! I’d love to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. The service was among the best we’ve had in along time.

Very nice restaurant very nice and attentive servers and bartenders. The food was not all that great! I was in a party of 4 and none of us liked what we got. And our bill was 200 dollars. I have no problem paying that amount but for better tasting food! Everything else I would give 8/10 but the food was a 2/10.

We just had an amazing meal at Skyline! We started with cocktails and both my husband and I loved ours. I loved mine so much I ended up having a second one, which I rarely do. Next we had the pork belly appetizer which was also delicious! Next we each got our different entrees and all four of us practically cleaned our plates. I had the seafood over pimento cheese grits. Every component was spot on perfectly executed. Service was just the right amount of attention and the view of downtown Lynchburg was beautiful with the sun seating & a perfect breeze!

Don't get to Lynchburg often, but when we do, dinner at Skyline is a must. Love the outdoor, rooftop option.

Great location on the rooftop. The service was quite good, and the meal was excellent. I recommend the Crabcake starter. We had the salmon entree along with the scallops. Both dishes were outstanding - the risotto with the scallops was one of the best I've ever had. If you're in Lynchburg, you owe it to yourself to stop at the Skyline - for drinks, a great meal - and an outstanding view...you won't be disappointed.
