We were excited to visit the newly renovated Sky Room and it didn’t disappoint. Great ambience, food and service. View of city was awesome.

We had our first visit and New Year dinner and it was very nice. We received great service and the ambience was amazing. We came a bit early, and were offered to await our time at the bar or be seated early. We decided to be seated early and were sat at a beautiful window seat overlooking the holiday lights at the LB Convention Center. I had the Betty Paige and it was delicious, the champagne car was to either take as a shot or add in. I chose to add-in to savor it with my meal. Specialties we chose were the Crispy Maitake Mushrooms, which I would choose over and over again! And the Flannery Beef Hangar Steak, which was also quite good. We will be back for more cocktails and fare. It was amazing!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner before ringing in the New Year. Taylor was very professional, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious. We are so happy to be back at the Skyroom. We look forward to many more dinners. Happy New Year!

Excellent meal for NYE. I appreciate it was not a set menu and just the regular menu. The table settings, drinks and food were all outstanding. Best fish I have had in along time. My husband’s steak was outstanding. The Cesar, roles and duck liver parfait was amazing! Great views to boot. Our only points of feedback are: (1) There are three items on the menu that require two people to order. We would have had two of them if could order for a single order. Other restaurants can do those items for 1 so not sure why they have to be for two here; (2) while service was good, I hope they continue to improve as many would expect more at that price point. Our waiter was excellent but at times the rest of the wait staff was a bit intrusive & brisk. (3) Wine list is rather limited. Bring your own bottle if want something outstanding. We will definitely be back!!!

Server Jessica was friendly and attentive. She was helpful in checking with the chef on allergy friendly options and making sure to walk us through what we could safely eat (shellfiah allergy, gluten free). We shared the beetroot salad, while Mary's chicken, delicata squash and tableside bananas foster. We also had a glass of wine each - not a cheap night out (total bill was $178 before tip). All the food was delicious. The salad seemed small to share, but we were totally full by the time we left (too full). Two remaining pieces of chicken were boxed up. The water glasses were always full and staff was well trained. We were the first table seated for dinner when they opened. It was a beautiful way to spend NYE. Valet parking was $10 for 4 hours (no validation needed). The noise from the bar was starting to pick up when we were leaving. It was nice to be back in the new version of this space and experience the new Fairmont. We'll be coming back. Suggestion to Fairmont - add allergy friendly information to menu online. It would be very helpful when trying to plan and knowing whether or not I can eat anything there.

Great to have the Sky Room back. Completely remodeled. Food was great service was amazing my water cup was always filled. The server was checking in on us at the right times. Food claws delicious portions aren’t generous but satisfied our appetite. Great experience nostalgic feel, the whole experience was great. Will definitely be going back soon.

Beautiful Anniversary Dinner! We had a wonderful return to the restaurant since it’s reopened. The courses and cocktails were delicious. We can’t wait to have many more date nights there.

A different but beautiful Sky Room than the previous one. Miss the nostalgic nod to the 40’s dancing and music but it evokes a new vibrancy and stellar menu and service. The sea urchin toast and fish crudo were amazing but the Wagu Wellington is the star and was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately it could use some noise dampening devices as it gets quite loud as the evening progresses; however, it’s a lovely place to spend a special evening.

We were helped by David at the Skyroom and the fact that he read my note in my reservation indicating I had my wedding reception 12 years ago tells me they pay attention to details. I loved the elegant ambiance and the food was delicious and beautifully served. Well done Skyroom! Bravo! We will return many times I’m sure. Thank you for a memorable dining experience.
