    Was the last meal of the weeklong trip to Banff, and by far it was the best meal. My initial apprehension at the prices went away at the first few bites of the salmon gravlax. The salmon was cured perfectly and cut not too thick or thin. The flatbread was light and crisp, the capers plump and juicy, the compound butter flavrorful and mouth-tingling from the cracked black pepper. The bison was cooked perfectly and was delicious on its own but paired with the blueberry demi, was exquisite. The potato au gratin was crisp and flavorful. I got a side of garlic broccolini and these were bright and crisp and cooked perfectly to retain their crunch. The dessert was the semifreddo with espresso caviar and a coffee sauce, which was light but delicious and could easily have slurped the coffee sauce. Lastly, the drinks were wonderful, from the passionfruit sour to the smoked old fashioned. I have had my share of old fashioned's, but these were so good, I downed the first one before my entree even showed up and happily ordered a second. Would recommend making reservations well in advance to snag a place, as the restaurant had to turn away a fair number of walk-ins. Although very busy, the service was excellent, and my waitress was attentive and pleasant.

    We had a wonderful table with the best view. The service was top notch and the food delicious, the best experience for a really special occasion.

    Wow this is an amazing experience! The food and drinks were great but the best was our waitress, Jayden. She made the the evening an A+. They are very fortunate to have her on staff
