We had an outstanding meal last night . My husband had the tuna steak which he raved about throughout the meal ( he said he wanted to hug the chef) I had the chicken ptarmigan. Absolutely delicious. There was enough to bring home for my lunch today. All ingredients are so fresh and each plate is created with care. The restaurant is small but decorated nicely. The meals are pricey, but definitely worth it .

Table for 6 in middle of room is tight. Next time I will request a 4 & 2 put together.

The chef is exceptional! We always enjoy the food here! Excellent service from the moment you are greeted. My only constructive criticism, from a serving stand point, Food runners didn’t know whose food went to who. Have eaten here several times, and will continue. 5 Stars +

Fantastic food, creative menu, and excellent service! We had the grilled artichoke hearts, Caesar salad, chicken parm, shrimp & grits, and roasted Brussel sprouts—all exceptional! We will order them all again in the future (after we get through the other dishes we wanted to try…). Not to be missed—the Grilled Artichoke Hearts are a delicious combination of flavors, perfectly prepared! It’s by far the most creative way I’ve seen grilled artichoke hearts prepared, and I could have ordered a double portion and made it a meal. Also, the best Shrimp & Grits I’ve had anywhere—including New Orleans! The secret is in the grits—so creamy and delicious—as a perfect base layer for the shrimp and andouille! And BYOB makes it easy to enhance the meal with our own wine. We will be going back soon—so many other dishes we look forward to trying! Thank you for a very special evening.

Best meal and dining experience I’ve had at the Jersey Shore in years. Menu options were thoughtful and diversified, but not overwhelming. Food was exceptional and our server Sean was amazing. The room decor was fresh, crisp and comfortable. The overall ambiance was perfect for enjoying our meal and the conversation amongst our group. This restaurant is now on my “must go again” list. My sincere compliments and gratitude to the owner, chef and staff.

This was our third time at Skratch. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended! Chef circulated the dining room to ask how everything was. Nice touch to see he cares that much about his art.

We sat out back on the patio.. it was lovely n very quiet!! Not sure why no one else was out there!! The dining room was very crowded! Food is always EXCELLENT!!!
