Often referred to as “the wine lover's restaurant,” Sixty Vines delivers simple, yet flavorful cuisine paired perfectly with 60 wines on its sustainable tap system. Every plate and pour is designed to inspire adventure and discovery of wine culture reimagined. Guests are encouraged to experience abundance over shared plates, enjoy wine “pinkies down” and to visit for brunch, lunch and dinner. Signature menu items include charcuterie boards, seasonal proteins, wood fired pizzas and innovative pasta dishes all inspired by ingredients found in wine country.

Great selections of wine, food was way too overpriced. Especially the desserts, super expensive for an extremely small portion. Would be a good spot to just get wine or split a meal.

The food and service were great. I also enjoyed the concept of an overall wine bar with many options to sample. The dinning area is very large and one contiguous space with cement floors making every VERY loud. It was hard to have a conversation. Even our waiter had a hard time hearing us just to take the order. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this is not it.

My second visit to 60 Vines. The positives -- the appearance of the restaurant is appealing and contributes to a good dining experience. The service was fast and friendly, and the server was knowledgeable about the wine choices. The grilled shrimp was delicious. The Reisling was very good. The check was a tad expensive, but not unreasonable for DC. The negative -- the background music was very loud, although our server was able to have volume turned down when we requested it.

The noise level at 60 Vines is almost unbearable. Food was excellent as is the waitstaff.

Came for an early Pre-theatre dinner. Place was empty at 530 on a Saturday but was very busy at 7 when we walked out. Ava our server was great and conversational. She had many suggestions that were spot on. We shared small plates of burrata, shrimp and crispy eggplant (chips that you can’t stop eating). Wine flights came quickly. So did the food. I will certainly come back and support them.

This is a very popular restaurant. Nicely decorated and very large space. Our reservations was for 6:15pm on a Wednesday and we didn't get seated until 6:45pm or later. The bars were completely full and the only seating area at the hostess area was full. We stood while we waited. The waiter is responsible for taking orders and someone else delivers them. The waiter uses an ipad device and it took surprisingly long to type in our orders. I waited 10 mins to get a glass of wine. Expect to wait. Ceaser salad was delicious as was the salmon and pork chops. Dessert was free as it was a birthday celebration. Wine was overpriced. I would go back as it is a lively, fun place.

We went with friends and decided to try lots of dishes family style. We like the halibut so much We ended up ordering a second one. The brussels sprouts were delicious, as were the mussels and the broccoli. We were underwhelwmed by the fried chicken and caviar, but that could have been because everything else was spectacular. We also ordered the braised pork pasta. All the dishes were flavorful and delightfully presented. Our server Cali was knowledgeable and helpful. Each of us tried the wine flight and went home with a list of wines We can't wait to add to our home collection.
