5th or 6th visit to SIX Sorry to say this was the only time I’ve been disappointed Lack of starters for all tastes Temperature of some the food was cold Roast potatoes were dry and a little over cooked

Great service from genuinely attentive staff. Best Sunday lunch we have had for many years, and with stunning views over River Tyne.

6 course taster meal was outstanding although we thought it quite expensive with the wine and service charge at around £170.

As always, the menu, food. presentation, ambience, staff were perfect. The ladies' toilets are often dirty and have no toilet roll. The online menu we book to eat differs from the menu offered when we arrive. We hope these faults can be addressed because they let the restaurant down.

The food and sevice was excellent. The setting gives you something other resteraunts cant offer, stunning views and a bright airy space to enjoy the food. On request they changed one item on the tasting menu and the replacement was sublime. Expencive but no regrets

We enjoyed celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at Six with a tasting menu & flight of wine. The food was delicious, wine gorgeous & staff extremely attentive & knowledgeable about the food & drinks we were served.

Booked the chef's table for my other half's birthday and was not disappointed. Staff were lovely and the food served by chef Alex was something else. I had the 'Land and Sea' 9 course tasting menu and my partner had the vegan one, both with the wine pairing menu. Food was of a very high standard and we thought reasonably priced for what we had. We will definitely be going back.

There is literally no better place in Tyneside to eat... forget all other restaurants. First class service and food. Friendly staff make it a perfect visit every time. 5/5 to the kitchen too. The bar menu is fantastic as well.
