Our server was sweet but slow. Our drinks sat at the bar for a while and we wanted to order right away knowing what we wanted after she told us what the chef special was but we waited a long time for her to even come back. When we finally got our food the eggs were ice cold. The steak was cooked as I ordered but cold as well along with the potatoes. The only thing that was hot was the plate. I will not be going back any time soon.

We had a wonderful experience! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, staff was kind and helpful and the food was delicious! Large portions that are so tasty

Excellent food. We ate out on the patio on a lovely fall afternoon. The view and atmosphere were amazing. For appetizers, baked Brie with fig jam and candied pecans was delicious, although the naan bread served with it was over baked, and the baked clams with smoked Gouda and apples was truly outstanding. This is the only place in town that I know of with excellent baked clams. Service was a bit disappointing though. Our server was also the bartender, so I guess I should make allowances, but one person ordered calamari with a salad for lunch, which she clearly indicated she wanted served together, yet the salad came out before even any of the appetizers were served. Also, service was pretty slow throughout, which is just not acceptable in a restaurant of this class. The entrees were all very good, and all four of us were very pleased (other than the timing, which I’ve already addressed). There’s also a lovely koi pond on the roof right near the restaurant, which was an added benefit. We will plan to go back, and hopefully see better service next time.

What a wonderful addition to downtown Roanoke! Crab dip was incredible! Will be back soon!

Very enjoyable experience. Unfortunately the outdoor space was not open even though the weather was accommodating, which was somewhat disappointing. The bar area was very noisy and distracting at first, but quieted down as the evening went on. Food was excellent.

We celebrated a birthday dinner and the service, wait staff, and food were excellent. First time, and we will definitely return.

First time at Six and Sky, took a friend for a late birthday dinner. We both had the Ribeye, and it was hands down the best steak we have ever had!! Service was great! We were there early ( 4:30) on a Sunday afternoon, so there were not many people there, so it was quiet. Sat outside on a beautiful fall afternoon, and it was just perfect all the way around!! Highly recommend Six and Sky!

We're new to the area, so were looking for something special for an anniversary and decided on Six and Sky. Once we figured out how to get to the restaurant from the parking garage, we were quickly seated even though we were a bit early. Had the shrimp cocktail for appetizers (4.5/5), while I had the pair of lobster tails and my wife had the filet. We appreciated the sides were included instead of ala carte and they were delicious on both orders. My lobster tails seemed a tiny bit overdone, but still in the range. My wife's filet was supposed to be done to medium but was a bit less than medium rare, so she decided to send it back for more time. This usually results in her stead being overdone, but in this case, it still was underdone in the middle. Not even cool red, just red. Our waitress did comp the New York cheesecake for dessert, which was perfectly done, especially considering how tall it was. Overall, some flaws but we will be back. There were several intriguing items on the menu we want to try.
