What an absolutely incredible evening once again at Six Acres. My husband & I celebrated his birthday with a quiet dinner by the window. We ordered the Sourdough bread & trio of dips for entre and we ordered the Eye Fillet steaks for mains that were cooked to perfection! We also got the creamy mash ans chefs sauce of the day! We couldn't fault anything. It was stunning. We enjoyed the beer and Espresso Martinis. Standards were met. Just an incredible dining experience. Every interaction was a pleasure and the effort from the staff showed. They really care! They love their job. Thet were more than happy to serve and cater to us. That's how we felt. That's how service should be. It's so appreciated.

Where our table was, was freezing cold it was warmer outside. The sides came out and were cold by the time everything got to the table. The squid was cold and rubbery, one of our steaks came on a cold plate when all the others were warm and it was over cooked. We had a birthday cake and were given a massive chefs knife to cut the cake ourselves. When we questioned this, we were told it’s a health and safety risk for the kitchen to cut the cake (we thought kitchen staff were trained professionals) The staff weren’t particularly proactive, we had to ask for the kids to get their ice cream and for the cake to get put back in the box we brought it in, although the staff just dumped the box on our table for us to pack. We gave this feedback to the manager when we went to pay and he didn’t seem overly interested in what we had to say. Our family certainly won’t be coming back here or recommending this place to anyone.

Sensational food! We thought the food was superbly cooked and presented. It is a bit overpriced given the location and ambience and the service was a bit slow.

Great food, higher priced, but excellent quality. Only disappointment was the change to the Sourdough Bread - changed to a basket of mixed breads - bring back the sourdough! Beware, the onion rings side is MASSIVE!

Wagu beef was cooked to perfection. Quite possibly the best steak we've ever eatin. Fish of the day was also delicious. Complements to the chefs. We would definitely return.

The steak was amazing so tender and great price. However the sides were a bit overpriced particularly the broccolini. Overall though the service was good although did feel like we were being upselled to buy more drinks at every opportunity.

We always enjoy the food at Six Acres & as usual, the meal was excellent. We brought two friends & they enjoyed it as well. My only concern was the restaurant had no record of our booking. Fortunately, I had kept my confirmation from Open Table & was able to provide proof of booking; otherwise, they didn’t seem that enthusiastic about seating us. Apart from this, we enjoyed our night, but they could have had additional staff on, as service was a bit slow.

Tables well spaced. Food was very good. Service was slow despite only 1/3 full but otherwise very professional. Highly recommend the steak and the duck.

The meals were nice, and pretty well priced. Nice and clean place. But my pet hate is dirty plates they don't get taken away, we had our entree plates sitting there for 30mins with staff walking past constantly. And the main was to long until it came out.
