Siren Social Club is a sultry tropical speakeasy-style restaurant inside the new boutique Hotel Vela in downtown Gulfport, MS. The restaurant and hotel is a short walk from the Mississippi Aquarium, and picturesque white sand beaches. Led by award winning Chef Austin Sumrall and his wife Tresse, the menu will feature refined European flavors including an extensive raw bar, flavorful small plates, and a variety of handmade pastas just to name a few. The bar will boast an expertly designed menu of artisanal cocktails, wines, and spirits. The food and the experience are next level for the MS Gulf Coast. My second visit in the 3 weeks they have been open and still amazing.

Our dinner was a great experience! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food was fabulous! The ribeye was huge and cooked to perfection! We also had the Ravioli. With our meal we shared a Caesar salad, the grilled shrimp, squash gratin and rolls! It was all delicious! We will definitely be back! Kelly

The space is small and intimate, but you can even eat at a counter while you watch the chefs prepare the meals. We ate 4 different appetizers, and then got two more as a repeat for our tummys! Food is fantastic, ambiance is romantic, and the service outstanding. Will be there again.

Another Home Run for Chef Austin Sumrall and his team. Downtown Gulfport has needed a restaurant of this quality for a long time. The energy is amazing. Great work Austin , Tresse, and team!

I had high expectations and it was somewhat delivered. First of all, Brandon, the bartender was very knowledgeable and an extremely good mixologist. We knew him from the White Pillars, which we love. At one point, I tried to order a cocktail off menu, and unfortunately the bar did not have the required alcohol which was a little surprising. The food was extremely good, except for the fact that it was an awkward delivery. We were a table of two and the appetizers were delivered with a distinct separation, so we were unable to enjoy them together. The main course, which we shared, also had a separate delivery time from the vegetable side to the main course. I also felt that the 6 scallops were slightly unworthy of the $45 price tag. I certainly think that they are in their “soft opening” phase and are working through these issues, and I don’t want to sound negative about this wonderful new local offering. However, I always feel that if you are going to charge slightly more then you need to live up to expectations and though there are all the right ingredients, there are certainly still areas that need tweaking as a new business. Overall, I think the place has a great ambiance and wish them every success!!!

Thank you for the review! We hope you enjoyed your time with us. We are definitely still figuring out some of our finer details in week two including getting our timing down. The idea was supposed to be that the food flows out in a way that you always have something new and delicious in front of you, but we may need to tighten it up a little. Such a beautiful place with a great ambience, wonderful food and an even better staff!! My group of 8 ordered most of the menu and shared family style and every dish was worth the price and more. Each plate was beautiful and the drinks were artistically thought out and delicious. Chef Austin has done it again and made the coast a bit better and we will be back!!

A wonderful birthday dinner at the Siren Social Club! A beautiful Speakeasy vibe with awesome service and top class food and special drinks as always with Chef Austiin Sumrall! 🥳❤️ The Caesar salad, Beef Wellington and 1000 layer potatoes were awesome. Don’t be afraid to split everything. It may look small but by the time you start eating everything it’s very filling for two people Thank you for the best birthday dinner! 💯. PS Thanks to Brendan for making it extra special. 🥰
