The food was spectacular. Julia, the owner, was attending tables all night long she is super nice. It shows when the owner of a restaurant is paying attention. I would go back every time. The price to quality was second to none.

We did not know what to expect because there was no menu buy we were wonderfully surprised when our food arrived. They were delicious. We love the ambience , too. We love watching the boats and people passing by along the canal. Expect to be there for 2 hours just soaking everything in. Service is still good.

Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown Amsterdam. The proprietor is happily present, and nice set dinners are also offered here, adjacent to the picturesque canal .

Amazing experience! From our entrance into the restaurant being greeted by Julia to leaving after meeting the other two sisters so the creators of the menu. For those that say, they did not know that it was a surprise menu, shame on you because it’s announced as soon as you sit down when they ask if you have any allergies or foods that you would prefer not to have. Also, on the website. When you sit down, you are served freshly baked bread and wine or a cocktail. Then, you’ll await the amazing creations by the other two sisters in the kitchen. Without telling you what we were served, because I want it to be a surprise for you as well, The dishes were delicious! We did the 4 course and that was plenty of food. Great adventure, if you have time, don’t miss this. Thank you everyone! So happy that your restaurant was part of our adventure in Amsterdam.

This was an amazing dinner experience. We loved that the only decision that had to be made was whether we wanted 3 course, 4 course or 5 courses. We opted for 4 courses with a wine pairing. All 4 courses were elegant and creatively prepared. We highly recommended Singel 101.

This was one of the freshest and best meals we have had in a long time. The restaurant is owned by three sisters. The first runs the front of the house while the other two run the kitchen. We chose the five course menu and each was an amazing gastronomic experience. Even our picky 16 year old son ate everything. Just tell them your food allergies and the the things you don’t like and the chef takes that into account when preparing the food. Don’t miss this gem when visiting Amsterdam! These are the photos of our 5 course meal.
