1. Ambience was not great. 2. Drinks were amazing. 3. Starters were of the standard we expected; really great and different. 4. The mains were a big let down - one came in cold and taste was ordinary.

We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and got to say it was fantastic. The food was superbly spiced and cooked to perfection. The wines were all excellent. Highly recommend and would happily come again.

Yummy. Love this place, the food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. The prices are okay a little steep but you get what you pay for in this life. Highly recommended.

A wonderful experience at Sindhu. Great hospitality by each member of staff who went an extra mile to make our experience wonderful. The chef was super accommodating too, trying to provide us the best as per our vegetarian requirements. Exceptional service by Mr. P . They gave us a special anniversary surprise with a beautifully decorated Brownie.

Delicious food, excellent service in a room with a view. We had the tasting menu with accompanying wine flight, couldn’t fault it. The mango wine was unusual, but delicious, and the Indian Shiraz was a first.

Amazing Supper Club dining experience. Wonderful food with added theatre of announced courses. Would definitely attend any further supper clubs with visiting chefs.

The Sindhu benefits from a stunning location by the Thames in the pretty town of Marlow. However, our experience was somewhat spoilt by the lack of ambience inside the restaurant. The room was very noisy mainly because of a large group table. We couldn’t hear each other because of this noise. A pub- like atmosphere is not what we were expecting from a fine dining restaurant. The decor was reasonable but nothing exceptional. The service was prompt, though they forgot to bring the repeat order of garlic naan and had to be reminded. The service lacked personal touch. The starters were tasty and had the finesse expected, and reflected the use of quality ingredients. The star dish in the main course was black daal, which was authentic and very tasty without being over rich. The Goan cafreal prawns were disappointing. We were not expecting them to be in green sauce. The kofta paneer had a creamy white coloured sauce which had not been described in the menu and was not to our liking. Lamb Chettinaud was very good. In short we had an overall good dining experience but it fell short of our expectations. As the dishes on the menu are different from the standard Indian restaurants in the area, the staff need to be aware and be more forthcoming in guiding the guests when taking order.

Totally amusing food and 5 star service, even gave us the chance to sample some very tasty Indian wine which was very kind as we had never experienced Indian wine before. Looking forward to our next visit
