Great food, great service, absolutely a great restaurant to visit, recommended…..but brace yourself- room is really quite noisy / loud with conversations of fellow diners!

Amazing 7 course tasting menu. The flavours were amazing. Lovely presentation and service. Just wish we had done the matched wines too (one for next time). Beautiful setting by the river, overlooking the weir. Also enjoyed drinks outside on the Lawn area (you can drink there even if not staying at the hotel)

Amazing food, beautiful wines, great timings between courses and ensuring we had finished the wine before the next course. The restaurant staff were all lovely and very helpful. The scallop, monkfish and chicken courses on the tasting menu were immense and the mango wine utterly delicious!

We've been many time and have enjoyed our visits immensely. This time we had family visiting so we went with them to celebrate a Birthday. The set menu offers a limited but great choice and is truly delicious; the flavours are distinct and not overwhelming; we had the Hake, Lamb and Chicken which we all shared and enjoyed. The meal came with a great cocktail. Would we recommend? Absolutely.

Lovely evening. However, the hotel and bars were all closed to accommodate a wedding. Our plan was to have drinks on the lawn and move to the bar after dinner but neither were possible. This was very disappointing and rather spoiled the evening. We should have been advised, we would have made different arrangements.

Great food and good value set lunch menu. Service feels as though being rushed, so could just be a little more relaxed to enhance experience
