The restaurant lives up to Atul Kochhur’s excellent reputation. Every course was delicious. We both enjoyed monkfish in particular. The staff are professional and the view of the river makes a lovely backdrop. A bit on the pricey side, but a wonderful treat.

7 course tasting menu vegan and vegetarian …..badly cooked ,badly flavoured ( over hot burnt my mouth ) ….. tofu slimey and inedible ….Aubergine course was too bitter to eat …..dessert awful . Felt like it had all been thrown on a plate before tasting . It’s a shame we’ve been to Atul Kutchers restaurants before and fantastic meals but this one at Marlow would not recommend and will not be visiting again .

Our lunch at Sindhi was excellent with perhaps the best food I have tasted outside of India. The service, ambience and views outside of the window were all fabulous and the Goan Prawns that my wife and I both ordered were simply delicious. The rice and roti bread accompaniments were perfect and afterwards we both remarked on how good the whole lunchtime experience was. Can heartily recommend to anyone who loves quality Indian food.

Soft shell crab was lovely. Salmon starter pretty plain and salad garnish limp and dreadful. Lamb main course lacked any flavour/spice, sauce very rich. Chick pea and lamb sauce too similar, chickpea no fresh ginger. Tandoori prawn in coriander, prawn very good but sauce rich and lacking flavour. Maybe I chose wrong but I did ask for advice so a more detailed menu explaining type of sauce etc would be good. Disappointing.

Every aspect of our meal was perfect. We had the tasting menu and every course was amazing. Our particular highlights were the scallops and the monkfish. All the waiting staff were just right - friendly and very attentive without being OTT. It isn’t cheap but it is worth it.
