Simply Crêpes is located among the boutique shops in historic downtown Canandaigua just minutes from the city pier at the northern tip of the lake. A walk or drive from the Lake House. Stop by before or after your wine tour along Seneca, Keuka, Cayuga or Canandaigua lakes. This casual eatery with country charm offers patrons a variety of comfort food with a focus on crêpe dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast menu can include "the best french toast", crêpes filled with eggs & bacon or stuffed with fresh strawberries. Pair breakfast with a boozy coffee flight or mimosa flight, cold pressed local juice. For lunch or dinner, smoked salmon and vegan "capable" Thai coconut curry. Dessert crêpes are stuffed with fruit or Nutella and topped with ice cream. Brunch is served all day. Simply Crêpes is open Monday through Sunday. Closed Tues. During the summer, dine outside in our cozy garden patio and enjoy a full outdoor bar at North Central Bar. Live music Friday & Saturday nights.

I’ve always loved Simply Crepes but the food was not great this time. The Breakfast Crepes were bland, the biscuits were slightly stale and even the French toast was nothing special. At over $150 for brunch for 5(no alcohol), it was a treat that wasn’t that special. Disappointing.

We were greeted promptly by a refreshingly friendly server and seated immediately for our 5:30 reservation. The menu offers unique crepe dishes along with soups and salads. My wife ordered the BLAAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and turkey) crepe. It was humongous and tasted just as good as it looked. She also ordered their creamsicle drink which she said was also delicious. I ordered the chicken Thai 🌶️ crepe. It was spicy but not overwhelmingly spicy . I enjoyed it very much. I also ordered their cucumber honeydew melon spritz. It was very refreshing. Noticing the other tables, it’s obvious the portion sizes are large and their deserts looked awesome. The restaurant is clean, well lit, nice space between tables. We’d definitely eat here again when in Canandaigua.

The food was absolutely delicious and they are very gluten free friendly! Portions are large and shareable. I love that they accept reservations because it is a small place. Adorable location in downtown Canandaigua.

Our waitress not friendly at all. Tried to get her attention about our order but she walked right by us without not us much as a “I will be right with you and I am placing another’s order. VERY rude!!!! We came in the day before and had another person wait on us and all was good. Do not think we will return….

The food was delicious as usual and the helpings were very large. We had a reservation and got seated right away. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive and friendlier but everything came out accurately. We will definitely be back.
