When Simon Schneitter founded The Homestead in 1886, he established a tradition of warm hospitality and friendly service. We are proud to carry on that tradition which is reflected in a staple for guests dining in Midway Utah. All meals are prepared with fresh, local ingredients by Simon’s executive staff and team.
Simon’s restaurant is located just off the lobby at Homestead Resort and is rich in mountain-style ambiance.

It was quiet, service was fantastic, the food, though limited, was great. We enjoyed the dinner in celebration of my wife's birthday.

Way overpriced. We were literally the only ones there. The food was not good. And the cheesecake we ate two bites and threw away. This place has gone way downhill. Go somewhere else. Yuck!

Aaron was a fantastic server and stayed on top of everything and was extremely personable. Food was good, the view could update a bit, but overall it was a good experience.

Beautiful view. Amazing service. Aaron was AWESOME!!! Good portion size. We would love to eat there again.

Easter brunch - much more expensive than what the food was worth. Cold food even though it was under a heat lamp/over a burner. Burnt bakery items.

The food did not seem fresh. Service was adequate not spectacular. The mushroom Bolognese was old mushrooms sautéed with what seem to be leftover sauce. The tomato bisque didn’t seem like bisque. It had a sour taste.

The actual menu was nothing like the on-line one. Food was great for vegans, but that was not what we were looking for. Server was very friendly and prompt. Atmosphere we nice but overall this was just okay and classified as a "hotel" restaurant. Pricey and just okay

Food was okay, service made up for some of this as our waiter was excellent! Just don't like how much the Homestead has changed.

We came here after going to the crater for my friends birthday. We waited at the check in table for 10 min no one came to seat us. I had to go find someone to seat us. There was NOONE in the restaurant but us. Once we were seated some one brought us water and took our drink order. 15 min later nothing. We waited another 5 min so a total of 30 min of waiting and eventually got up and left. The tables around us had not been cleared there was dirty dishes and trash on at least 3 tables and the place was dead empty.
