Another meal at Simcoe Yardhouse, enjoyed your daily special which was the Greek chicken wrap & fries. It was delicious! My husband had the fish 'n chips, liked it but if you want constructive criticism, he said there was too much batter, and too crispy and well done. Other than that, we both enjoyed our dinners!

The service at the beginning was good,plenty of good food. I was not happy with waiter. He never checked to see if things were ok, whereas other waitresses were friendly and checked with their diners. The worst part was trying to get out of the restaurant. It took at least an hour. I know the waiter was busy, and very stressed. He kept saying their was a problem with my rewards card and was trying to get VIP services, with no luck. Then he said his boss was on the phone, then computer problem. I was so fed up so finally went to his supervisor and said I was not paying for bad service, she said ok and I left. Needless to say I left no tip. Several other people, who he was supposed to look after left the restaurant. I believe he needs more trading etc.

Mandy was our server. She is an absolute gem. We both had the fish and chips. Very nice.

We were there earlier in the evening, so it wasn't that busy. Service was good. The server was very polite and attentive. Food was good too.

The service is amazing!! The waiters, waitresses are polite and smile alot. Virgina at the entrance always knows where we want to sit.

I had the chili cheese dog and it was hot diggy dog !! The chili was not too spicy but the cheese could have been melted. My brother had the hamburger and as always it was tasty, juicy and hot. We love the fries.

Unfortunately the one night that we bring friends with us for a Birthday dinner, everything went downhill! My friends ordered 2 beef dip on a bun dinners, with au jus, but the au jus was just gravy. Then, she broke a front tooth on a way too crispy onion crisp! My husband had the chili but forgot to say 'no onions, no sour cream! That was his fault but he also said the chili was a little too spicy for his taste. He ordered a side of fries with gravy which never arrived. My special. the steak fajita was fine. Then, paying the bill took forever (I know you just got a new system so I sympathize) and we were told we could not use comp points because the new system wouldn't take them! Good thing I had enough cash to cover the bill!
