Hadn't been to Silver in a long time. Service was extremely slow. Our waitress seemed to have forgotten about our table -- she didn't check on us for over a half hour -- and finally the hostess came over to help with desserts orders.

Delicious Father's Day breakfast. 3 generations with varying tastes found something to their liking. Minor modifications were easily made.

Our server was charming and attentive. The food was truly disappointing. We saw that there were new specials on offer according to the restaurant’ s ads but alas, they “weren’t available “. Shrimp and grits consisted of two dry grits patties afloat in an unappetizing red sauce. My branzino was okay but the accompanying vegetables were undercooked and way too salty. Won’t be returning.

We were at Silver for rollout of the new menu. Healthy & flavorful! I was able to easily substitute noncarb cauliflower mash for potatoes. Chef Ypes uses unique seasonings. Hard to place, but I think in addition to regular spices, he uses Mace [grated outside of the nutmeg shell] in the cauliflower mash, for example. This gives an earthy & unique flavor. Kudos to all. Enjoyed Silver for many years. Took friend from overseas for breakfast-very disappointing. Server took our order and that was last time we saw him! Flat soda, breakfast not as ordered, no coffee refill. Practically had to beg the server to bring our bill! What has happened Ype and Bob?!

Great experience. Food was ok. Chicken and waffles were a little dry. Lamb meatballs were great. Homemade sodas were delicious and waitstaff were excellent.
