The worlds first Zero Waste restaurant, Silo's menu is an expression of natural farming and closed loop cooking, demonstrating quality within sustainability.
Situated in Hackney Wick overlooking the River Lea, the restaurant features an open and spacious, relaxed dining room, counter seating around the kitchen and hearth, as well as a private dining room.
Awarded with a Green Michelin Star.

    Second time there and they did not disappoint. Amazing creative food with an ethical flare. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back.

    The Silo experience is too special to put into words. This was our second visit, and we were even more impressed (which I did not think possible). Absolutely stunning menu, the flavours of every single dish were just incredible. Faultless wine pairing, too. And the attentiveness, friendliness and knowledge of the staff (clearly all passionate about what they do and happy to share it!) made the whole evening extra special. By a million miles our favourite restaurant in London!

    We had a fantastic experience at Silo. The food was absolutely sensational dish after dish and the staff were similarly superb, happy to guide us through each course as they were being served. I'm normally not a fan of set menus, but this may well be one of the best meals I've ever had. I couldn't recommend Silo enough.

    Food is phenomenal and something new,from a chefs point of view its worth it to come and experience this restaurant. The vibes in the restaurant are clean but not too rigid like in a fine dining restaurant. The team is very attentive and positive,they will make you feel like home straight away.

    We were close to the door and felt a chill each time it opened...seems a shame not to find a way to keep the cold air out. The loo facilities were insufficient so we had to use the ones for the pub...disappointing. Other than that, the food was amazing, fabulous service (loved hearing the food and wine stories) and love the concept of zero waste food, especially in a restaurant. Well done Team Silo :-)

    My absolute favourite restaurant in London (maybe in the world). Incredible food, ethos, atmosphere, and service. Always my first choice for a special occasion

    What an incredible experience. Incredible food, fantastic service (although some staff spoke very softly). It's pricey but doing things properly is.
