At Sikwa, we believe that food is the universal language that communicates our history, culture, and traditions. Inspired by the richness of Costa Rica, we offer a culinary experience that connects the past and present. We work with local communities and collaborators such as Proyecto Jirondai and Koswak Usure to keep traditions alive and promote sustainable practices. Every dish at Sikwa tells a story of respect for the land and love for culture, using local and seasonal ingredients. More than a restaurant, Sikwa is an act of cultural preservation and a commitment to education and community development.

We had an amazing experience, since the moment we arrived and the table was ready. Amazing restaurant with impeccable service, friendly staff, and incredible food, specially the dessert with prestiños. Truly a must-visit!

This was an exceptional dining experience at a “nice restaurant” cost. The level of detail and care in every single menu item is incredible. The service was at times on “costa rica time” but a great excuse to savor Greta food and creative cocktails. Server knowledge was amazing for all menu items and specific ingredients or preparation, you felt the excitement as dishes were explained or menu tour was offered. Really, really, really amazing start to finish. Dessert was mind blowing to cap things off.

Sikwa is a remarkable experience. The food is unlike anything we’ve tasted before. The service is impeccable without being pretentious. If only the precolumbian diet included bread so we could sop up the delicious sauces.
