We always enjoy Siempre Algo, but this dinner was particularly special. We tried lots of items we had never eaten before. I can heartily recommend the caviar on homemade chips, the shrimp tempura, the tuna tartar, and the affogato with fennel ice cream. All beyond delicious. Siempre Algo continues to be one of Pittsburgh's best and most innovative restaurants.

Had dinner with friends at Siempre Algo last night to celebrate a birthday. Erin was our waitress and was delightful and knowledgable about the menu. The food and cocktails were suberb, as were her recommendations. Very much enjoyed the ambience, and we will definitely be going back

This is the 2nd time my husband and I dined at Siempre Algo. We felt like our first experience had to be a fluke. Maybe new kitchen staff or a kitchen staffing issue. Our food seemed pre-prepared and only slightly heated. This time we sat near the kitchen and could see them prepare our food. We witnessed a lot of items being brought out of plastic containers to be heated and plated. I had the Confited Moulard Duck Leg ($47) and my husband had the Roasted Acorn Squash ($27). Once again, my plate was barely heated and my duck leg was cold. My husband said his squash didn’t seem roasted, but more steamed in texture. The flavors of both meals were interesting and upscale. But the temperature and preparation were way off. The restaurant was freezing cold as well and the kitchen staff went out a side door and left it open (22 degrees F outside). I really wanted to love this place. They do give you a welcome glass of champagne or non-alcoholic spritzer while you look at the menu. Which is very nice. They also have a large selection of Scotch/Whiskey and Bourbon as well as, an eclectic assortment of wines to choose from. The wait staff both times we have been there have been superb, but I don’t think we will be back.

Siempra Algo was simply wonderful! We shared the Baguette and Butter, the Tuna Mayonaise (ymmm) and the Duck Confit dish. Everything extremely tasty and beautifully presented. The Service was fantastic. Siempra Algo is a real Gem.

Best birthday dinner! Enjoyed the gratis bubbly wine as we looked at the menu. Wonderful varied GF choices and amazing gf focaccia. Wait staff were friendly, fun and offered suggestions. Nice vibe- not too loud, cool music in the background but didn’t need to shout to converse. Interesting cocktail menu and huge specialty liquors to choose from. Disappointed I didn’t discover this sooner!

Delicious! Best meal we have ever had there and have eaten there many times. Gluten free options have expanded for which two of us are very grateful. Four of us chose four different entrees and each of us liked theirs.
