It’s obvious we’re all about oysters (they’re chilling on ice as soon as you walk in), but one look at our menu and you’ll see that Shuck is so much more.

Our raw bar features the freshest fish and shellfish with inventive flavors designed to complement, never cover up. Our snacks, sides, and starters are perfect for sharing, and our mains elevate favourite classics from down home to down right delicious.

Warm wood paneling and eclectic glasswork create an atmosphere that captures the spirit of Maritime living. There’s no red carpet here, but we have laid out the best in paper over our tablecloths so you can get to slurping, sharing, and savoring. Join us for lunch in a jiffy, or hang around for a while over dinner for an experience that’s modern, authentic, and unabashedly East Coast.

Took a very long time to receive our meal. The quality of our food did not meet the price charged. Has i have eaten here before I was a little disappointed.

We had a party of 4. We went early to get the happy hour oysters and wine. Oysters were so fresh and just really delicious. We ordered dinner but I only ordered a bowl of chowder since I had so many oysters but two of us had a burger that they reported to be really good. My BIL had the seafood boil with lobster, crab, mussels, potatoes and shrimp. He was just in heaven. We were seated outside on a really nice Halifax evening. It wasn’t noisy but I may have checked that the noise level was high because n error.

We had an amazing evening at SHUCK! We were entertaining a friend from Ontario who wanted to”Halifax’s best seafood experience” and he was not disappointed. Delicious cocktails, a great wine list and a fantastic selection of both raw and cooked seafood made this a memorable experience for all of us.

There was no seasoning on the seafood boil, the pictures online are misleading & the waitress also said there would be seasoning. There was barely any shrimp or potatoes. The little bit of food for 50 dollars was definitely not worth it & it made me & my sisters sick, so something or all of it wasn’t cooked correctly.

First time in Halifax and we decided to try this seafood restaurant for my husbands birthday. Needless to say, we are already booking to come back later in the summer to eat the seafood tour and mussels again! 10/10!
