    The food wasn’t great, sauce tasting more like plain cream than anything flavorful. Overall, both the taste and the service were disappointing, especially, I came all the way from North London. It also felt a bit rude to be asked to pay for the food before receiving the service. I won’t be visiting this place again

    Not quiet seafood boil for those who enjoy southern Cajun spice, definitely on the mild bland side.

    Great experience and great food. Great vibes as well. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Second time visiting and will be happy to come back

    Great place to eat that especially for seafood. Would highly recommend to everyone. It was for my mother’s birthday meal. Dessert was amazing . Only downside was that I ordered a dessert to have a candle but that wasn’t told to the staff taking orders. Staff member taking the orders spoilt the surprise haha. Still didn’t get the candle in the end but the fondant was amazing

    ‘Do you have a standard reservation?’ was the first question asked to us upon entering Shack. There was some influencer event on in the main restaurant area, and the whole staff seemed completely preoccupied with this event. ‘Payment up front’ was mentioned three times by the waiter, as though we were runaways. Once orders were taken, we were not given the gloves and bibs. Our Starters (sautueed & baked shrimp) were excellent, but waiter presented our main (seafood boil) whilst we were eating them. And at this point we didn’t have bib or gloves, so we requested these from the waiter. He gave us just one glove each, so a second was requested as everyone else had two gloves each. The staff admitted to not providing us with standard service. Overall, it was an unenjoyable experience because the staff were crowding us paying guests while the non-paying guests (influencers) were clearly being prioritised. Next time close the restaurant to the general public.

    My first coming to this place and it will be my last. Appalling service. We ordered our drinks and food. Food came and the drinks they forgot about until I had to remind them 3 times. Staff were very inattentive ignored our call few times. The manager didn’t have clue what he was talking about. Communication skills and people skills need to be taught to the staff

    Shrimp shack is one my favourite places. I enjoy the food and atmosphere all the time. I've brought alot of families and they too are happy.
