Chef Bryan Voltaggio found inspiration in a former Frederick car dealership showroom and transformed it into an open, airy space, with a long counter fronting an open kitchen serving modern American casual meals. Showroom serves Brunch seven days a week from 8am until 4pm and Dinner until 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 9pm Friday & Saturday. Adult beverages include boozy milkshakes, craft beers, wine, & signature cocktails. Signature dishes include Fried Chicken with Buttermilk Biscuits, Meatloaf, Chicken & Waffles, and Duck Fat Fried Potatoes.

I was drawn to the restaurant when I learned that a chef turned a car dealership into a restaurant. Ambience was really nice. The food was just not as good as I expected. My over easy eggs were undercooked with regards to the white part of the egg still being runny. The potatoes that came with my steak were extremely large bites…. the chef would do well to cut them in half if serving as a breakfast potato. The steak was cooked part to perfection… very pleased with it! The scrambled eggs with cheese that my husband got had just a slice of cheese laid over top the eggs rather than the eggs being scrambled with the cheese… i’ve never seen that before. The service was good…our waiter had good energy and was very pleasant.

Used to love coming here. Food is fine but nothing stunning. Service today was a bit lackluster and awkward. Had brunch with coffee and coffee wasn’t offered to be refilled at all during the meal. Menu left on the table and plates just put on top. Had to wait for who I assume was the manager to drop off the bill after waiting and not seeing our server for a bit. No need for me to make the effort to come back as it’s a shadow of it’s former self.

The Showroom was a hour drive for us and well worth it. We will be returning for sure. From start to finish, the Showroom did not disappoint our expectations. Even though our waitress was in training, she was amazing and attentive. She made the experience truly lovely. Must haves include the pot pie fritters and carrot cake. We can't wait to return to try out more menu items. Long story short: The Showroom is awesome.

The drinks arrived warm, and the food arrived cold. It was challenging to get anyone's attention to correct the issues. Consequently, my spouse and I sat idle while the other got a turn to eat. Not the date experience we were going for.

After eating at Chef Bryan's Thacher & Rye a few years ago, it's hard to believe this restaurant has his name behind it. We came here on a date night and ordered the chicken pot pie fritters, Maryland pit beef, and a double stack burger. Several issues: - The pot pie fritters were fine in concept, more or less a croqueta. Biggest complaint was the inside hadn't fully cooked through and we got a couple pieces that were still cold. - Waitress didn't ask for temperature of the meat for the burger. It was served with overcooked patties but cheese that wasn't melted. - The Maryland pit beef was more like cheesesteak on a bun, without the cheese. I need to see my way to Chaps asap for redemption after eating this. Also much greasier than it needed to be, it was that bad. - Entrees came out literally 90 seconds after the appetizer. From sitting down to bill paid and standing up from our table was a total of about 40 minutes. Felt like a very rushed meal. Only positives were the fries were perfect and our tab, which included two cocktails, were under $100. I suppose this could be an okay place to go for brunch or a family meal but we chose a rare date night, which made it all the more disappointing for my wife and I.

Ashley our server was excellent. She made the experience wonderful from start to finish. Food was delicious with well developed flavor, great choices and interesting choices. I will return.

This was my first visit to Showroom, though my mom had dined here repeatedly in the past. I had also dined at Chef Bryan’s Volt and Thatcher & Rye in the past. Showroom is my favorite of his. The menu is a challenge: so many appealing dishes! The kitchen’s execution tonight was complete. Nella served us expertly. She was attentive without being intrusive. My mom ordered the fried chicken dinner (1/2 chicken, perfectly skillet-fried with cheddar-chive biscuits and hot honey sauce). She also ordered the steak fries, which were awesome! I devoured my Baltimore pit beef sandwich. It was served on a brioche bun with onions and bacon horseradish sauce (as good as any au jus). In lieu of kettle chips, I had three delicious, wide-cut onion rings. No doubt we’ll be returning.
