Shosha is a great restaurant with a really nice location in the heart of Sunnyvale. Their food is well presented and equally tasteful. We especially enjoyed all the appetizers and the drinks.

I think Shosha's quality has gone down a bit over the last year. This review is for the buffet. The paneer is less tasty , the meen moilee was replaced by a different fish curry during the buffet which wasn't all that great. I think the paneer during the night time menu is much better and would recommend having a paneer Tikka dish for the buffet as well. Other appetizers are decent. Chicken was good.

This review is for the weekend brunch buffet. The area for the buffet is too small and crowded and makes for a very awkward line of people crowding on a tiny corner and hard to get to items. The non-vegetarian options were very subpar, there was also no warm/fresh nan offered with the meal. There was a table with things like "lumpias" and small appetizers that looked very unappetizing (probably for being laid on the table for too long). No chai was available either but there was a welcome drink on a small shot glass that was ok. I've been to Shosha for dinner before and my meal was very good, but the buffet left much to be desired. I don't think I'll go back for weekend buffet.

We went for their weekend brunch buffet. It was extremely chaotic. Very poorly managed. They were not prepared to handle the crowd. They gave us a table in their upstairs space, which had no ambience. They were supposed to put food there too. But it took them almost half hour after we were seated to set the food. The food quality was also pretty ordinary.

The service was good but the food was not as good as expected. This was my first time so it could be an exception. Very few options for vegetarians and prices were high!

Quality food, new to us recipes, genuine spice, friendly service. The "Hot & Sour" Soup was delicious, totally unlike the famous Chinese recipes of the same name, and it alone made the visit worthwhile. (But chili wimps beware - it's quite spicy!) We also had a medium spicy fish dish and a mild tofu curry. The onion kulcha was moist and flavorful. Unfortunately, they don't have a luncheon buffet like a predecessor Indian restaurant in the same space on the Murphy Block in Sunnyvale. But a la carte works well with at least two diners (and preferably more). "We'll be back!"
