Shorty's Steakhouse is a unique dining experience. Established more than 20 years ago, along the historic Randolph Street in downtown Garrett, Indiana. Shorty's Executive Head Chef James Morrow has created & curated our menu over 10 years, carefully straddling the line of fine steakhouse dining, with small-town Indiana fare.

We are located in Garrett, Indiana, 10 minutes from the historic Auburn downtown and the ACD museum. Also, 20 minutes north of Fort Wayne, Indiana, 15 minutes from Kendallville, Indiana and 25 minutes south of Angola, Indiana. We love that we bring all these communities together at Shorty's.

Shorty's is proud to offer bar seating, family room seating and an outdoor patio we completed last year.
We are laid-back and believe our guests' enjoy the incredible service & food without having to "dress-up".
We embrace the great and growing community of Garrett, Indiana and love that we can share amazing cuisine in an unexpected location.

The filet mignon was butter-soft, and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. Creme Brule for dessert extra good. Drinks are special.

We had a great time at Shortys celebrating a birthday and enjoying the newly added Taco Tuesday offerings. Server was awesome and the adult beverages were delicious. Thanks Shortys for a great time.

Wonderful place to go and have a nice dinner. The food was great and had plenty of great options! The service was great and very pleasant, drinks were wonderful, not one complaint!

We always enjoy the FOOD and Service at Shorty’s. The food is amazing and the Staff is very attentive for the most part. LOL - with all the technology around us, it’s easy to get distracted. We will be back and bring some friends next time!

Our reservations were available as soon as we arrived. We were given our drinks and then needed a little time to study the menu. Our waitress was very nice and helpful in helping us with our order. My son couldn't stop talking about how e liked the Ribeye steak. It states it is the best he has ever had. I had the philly Steak and cheese on flatbread. I think I would prefer bread and I am not sure I had any green peppers on my sandwich. But the taste was pretty good. I will be back again.
