Another delicious experience. Service was great, food was delicious (although we ordered our burgers medium and they were definitely on the rare side). Noise is still a distraction depending on who’s celebrating in the dining room. Still a favourite place and will be back.

We were looking forward to having lunch at Shorebird The ambiance/decor was great Service was great - my White Sangria was great Having said that - the 2 of us had the Cubano Sandwich (I am Cuban) - it was very greasy, could not finish mine We looked at their Happy Hour Menu and it looked interesting - we will go back and try their Happy Hour

We frequently dine at Shorebird in Newport so we were excited to see there was one here in the desert. Unfortunately our service wasn’t the best Cesar salad arrived without the chicken by the time they brought it out the salad was finished. The pork chop was served cold. This is a beautiful restaurant with a great menu I just think they need to work on a few things as it is definitely not the amazing experience I’ve had at there other locations.

Apparently there was confusion with our order in the kitchen. We waited almost an hr for our meals without an updates from our server. Appetizers came out on time and were good. Kudos to the mgr who came out to apologize after our meal was completed and offered complimentary desserts. We were also given a gift card but I don’t know the value. We will return because I love the pork chop and I’m very forgiving but our host said it was the last time for him.

They seated us upstairs, where it was hot. Our temps out here are over 100 right now, so it was not the best option. Service was very slow. I ordered Salmon Capaccio and the salmon was sliced too thickly, in a Carpaccio the fish or meat should be paper thin. Very difficult to eat with chopsticks! I ordered crab cakes as an entree, they were a little overcooked on one side. A side salad of spinach, fennel and enoki was drenched in the sauce for the crab cakes. Not a great experience overall.
