Shokudo is an Asian Bistro restaurant celebrating our 11th year anniversary with a special discounted menu until August 31st, 2023, brought to you by the people behind South Beach’s long-standing favorite Toni's Sushi Bar of South Beach and the hit ramen restaurant, Shimuja, located in Davie.

Translated from Japanese as "the path to good food," Shokudo specializes in providing a broad range of comfort food favorites from across Asia such as Sushi, Ramen, Kalbi, Pho, and an array of other cross-cultural dishes. With over 25 years of experience in Miami, Shokudo brings the best of Asian cuisine to the Buena Vista neighborhood, located just steps from Miami’s Design District. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen; a modern, bright interior design; a serene outdoor covered patio; and a full bar.

We are currently open for indoor/outdoor dining, takeout and delivery seven days a week from 5 to 10:30p.m. Be sure to visit us during Happy Hour, offered daily from 5 to 7:00p.m

I discovered this restaurant on OpenTable. It did NOT disappoint! We drove all the way down from Boca Raton to check it out and really enjoyed it. During the summer months the traffic to Miami is not too bad. So we hope to get down there again before November!

Lovely small dining place. Good service. Not all dishes were 5 stars but then again, it’s a matter of taste. Had a lovely time.

Five stars all around. Excellent food, warm service, relaxing lo-key vibe, fair pricing. My favorite thing was all the veggie options. Delicious, inventive, flavorful dishes! A home run!

Excellent food. Prepared quickly and arrived without extensive wait time. Service was poor. The waitress was inattentive. I had to go find her multiple times and request her to return and gather orders from my guests. We had a small party of 4 people. She did not give effort to connecting with the customer. Interactions were transactional, at the end of the night I had to ask a different server to bring the check because the original waitress was missing. When asked about liquor options in stock at the bar she responded "I don't know what we have". Food was disorganized and she did not remember who each order belonged to.....foundational responsibilities when working in a restaurant

I order a crab fried rice and all I found was tomatoes and avocado. I know there wasn’t going to be to much crab but I couldn’t find any at all. Disappointing

The hostess sat us right away, gave us the option of dining inside or outside. We chose to sit outside, it was a nice evening. The waiter came over right away, he was knowledgeable on the menu and specials of the evening. The drinks and appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. The main course came out hit and also very delicious. From start to finish the service and food and drinks were all very good!!
