We recently celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday at Shogun, and it was an incredible experience! Jasmine, our server, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our chef (I regret not catching his name) was not only highly skilled but also very entertaining, keeping us engaged throughout the meal. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, making the celebration even more special. Thank you, Shogun, for providing such a wonderful dinner experience. We’ll definitely be back for more memorable moments!

The food and service was good - the only concern for me was trying to get our server to understand that we were a party of 7, not 8 and that we needed an extra chair and place setting removed to make it comfortable. I had to ask him 3 times to do this. (The seating is always very tight at this type of event, with one person often on a corner setting so once the extra chair was removed it was very comfortable) Our meals was good, but our veggies were underdone and lukewarm (raw onion) and the chef was rather unengaged with the group. Overall, it was good but not what we usually experience at the Shogun.

This is, hands down, one of the top restaurants in Prince George! The food is always amazing, the staff are fantastic and the fun chef at the Teppanyaki tables is one of the many reasons we will keep coming back. 10/10!

This was the worst experience I’ve had at Shogun restaurant. They ran out of lobster, very disappointed. The after dinner chef show was lame. I have been here many times over the years, sadly the whole thing is just going downhill. Definitely not what it was, probably the last time I have dinner here.

Our server, Jasmine, went above and beyond for our regular date night visit and made sure we had everything we needed. Our chef, Sung, made sure all parties at the table got their dietary preferences met. Our Godzilla order was melt in your mouth umami...as always.

Great food! Great chef! Meh service. Atmosphere is just okay. Table wasn't set well and service was haphazard.
