Starting with our Classic Reuben on Mondays, Turkey Club on Tuesdays, Roast Beef on Wednesdays, BLT on Thursdays, Coopers Beach Fried Fish on Fridays, Shippy's Smash Burger on Saturdays, and last but not least our Crispy Chicken on Sundays.

Just returned after waiting for the summer rush to end. Staff is very friendly, and atmosphere is nice and cozy. BUT The kitchen is really struggling to get the food out -instead of being served all 4 entrees at once. 2 came out-- then wait 1- then came out-- wait, wait, the 4th came out. the chicken came out very different than past orders. The busman was very attentive.

Disappointed that the old German menu is gone. Now it’s just another restaurant. I had gone there when they first reopened and it was a bad experience. Mediocre food and terrible service. Much improved now. The wait staff was courteous and efficient

I love this place and have been about six times since the renovation. I especially like the outdoor beer garden, really inviting,especially with the lights. The bar crowd is always fun. We had dinner in the dining area this time and unfortunately there were a few guys at the bar screaming at the football game. Service was good, although my friend asked for a refill on her beverage and it never appeared. the booth is honestly a little tight for 4. Both men in our party are over 6’2. I wasn’t crazy about either the potatoe pancakes or the veal schnitzel. The oysters and halibut special looked wonderful and my friend enjoyed them both. I’ll be back because I like the bar area and outdoor area. I also like the selection of German beer and Austrian wine.

Food and service are always good. Unfortunately last night they were extremely busy and we waited for our 8:15 reservation until about 8:40. Glad so many others are also enjoying this local restaurant

We had a delicious dinner. The pretzel with mustard was like being in Philadelphia. Perfect. Had the fish special, perfect. Two people had the burgers. Yummy. It’s a new favorite for us.

Waitress was off putting ,not very familiar with the menu. Food was ok but nothing homemade. Never asked to refill our drinks. Most of the delicious German food like the smoked pork chops has been taken off the menu.

We love Shippy’s. Frequent customers. We had another wonderful experience celebrating my friends’ bdays. The key lime pie was incredible. Best I have ever had!
