Restaurant's recent renovation is lovely....atmosphere is quite nice. Food was very good and service was top notch.

The scallops were outstanding and nicely priced. The free beer for booking on opentable is a plus. The sauerbraten was excellent and quite a generous portion. Very friendly staff.

This is our 1st time back since it re-opened. The staff was excellent. The food was delicious. We were not disappointed and can't wait to go back.

This was our first return to Shippy’s following the new ownership. Very nice update to the restaurant, Overall our dinner was excellent. We had potato pancakes as an appetizer and were exactly the way we like them. For entree’s we had sauerbraten and veal schnitzel and both were outstanding. For desert we shared Shippy’s Apple Tart. It is made to order as was well worth it, great presentation. Service was great! Highly recommended and we will be back!

We were four for dinner. The noise level was bad do to the bar. Service was prompt and nice..However my dinner was so bad. the chicken Schnitzel was so dry like a rock..and burnt on the edges. They should take it off the menu. We will not be back.
