Experience the best of Shimogamo with our Omakase menu, which means “leave it up to you”. Our expert staff will curate a menu, tailored to your preferences and dietary restrictions. Please note that this is not a customly created chef's tasting course, but rather a compilation of our existing menu and specials of the day. Designed for sharing, this menu is perfect for groups of two or more and requires a minimum of two guests. To ensure availability, reservations are required. The Omakase menu is priced per person and excludes tax and gratuity. Beverages are not included in the course but can be added at an additional cost. Please allow approximately two hours for a party of two, and three hours or more for larger groups.

We did a birthday celebration with Omakase option and it was delicious. The chefs worked with us on our dietary restrictions and the food was fresh and creative. Great dining experience and the waitstaff were very attentive. My favorite was the waygu tartare, but others at our table had different favorites. All delicious. We don't drink, but the menu did have some really tasty options.

We have been waiting and waiting to go to Shimogamo and a birthday finally arrived so off we went. Sat at the Sushi Bar, always a treat, and I must say, this place did NOT disappoint. The sushi was magnificent. Fresh, prepared to perfection, with amazing artistry. The hot dishes were wonderful. I am going to dream about the SPICY TUNA TARTARE, big eye tuna / nori chips / shiso / pickled onion. Those nori chips. Gah! And SHIMOGAMO SHOOTER, hamachi / uni / ikura / white soy / verjus …. And we just kept eating and eating. We will be going back I suspect to the point we become familiar faces like so so many others at the Sushi Bar. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Go now!

We had our 20th anniversary dinner last night—and have been going to Shimogamo since before we were married. It’s the best sushi in the valley. Period. If you want quantity—go somewhere else. If you want quality, Shimogamo is the only place in Arizona.

This was the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. First of all, the restaurant is beautiful inside - very modern, clean, upscale. The staff was extremely friendly. Our waiter was outstanding. He explained the dishes in detail, helped us make choices, the food was wonderful. Sushi had wonderful flavors and the presentation was gorgeous. We also had some cooked foods which were also fabulous. Will definitely go back.

Took a long time for our appatizer- oysters on half shell. Not waitresses fault. Food was very good. Clean. Well lite.

It’s always a amazing food experience! The staff is amazing,kind, accommodating, just over all one of the best service my wife and I get! Micah was a great waitress and definitely will keep on coming back! Keep up the amazing work Shimogamo!!!

The best sushi we have had in Arizona hands down. Fresh and creative dishes. Even the water and ice were delicious (hard to find in AZ). They have a wide range from the beginner to adventurous. Drinks were also top notch.
