This was our first time going to Shima and it was an unforgettable experience! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the soft boiled eggs, the street noodles, and the short rib were outstanding. Please go if you’re in the area and looking for a great meal; you won’t regret it.

We usually have a wonderful time here, with excellent service and food. Aside from the hostess accommodating us because of a flight delay, we felt like the service was lacking, it was very slow. The appetizers, which were perhaps the best part of the meal, came before one of our drinks, which we had to send back because it was mixed incorrectly. The entree was just okay. The snapper, very bland, no seasoning at all. The specialty rice - there was more vegetables than rice and meat - not enjoyable. The curry was flavorful but could have been spicier. Our server seemed overwhelmed, so maybe add more staff on busy nights.

Shima was recommended and I'm glad that I took the recommendation. Our Server was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Recommended non-alcoholic drinks for the drivers and also recommended diner items. The atmosphere was relaxed but not too relaxed with a hint of 'high-society'. Oh! the restroom....oh la la...very very nice and clean and modern. Artwork in the dining area is vibrant and immediately caught my eye. Will definitely recommend Shima.

Shima has been one of my favorite restaurants but my most recent experience was disappointing. The pad see ew was salty, the fish was underseasoned and the service was just okay.

By far the best meal we had in an entire month on the island. The food was beautifully presented but more than that, spectacularly flavored. The service was also great.

Excellent as always, we had guests over from Exuma, they totally enjoyed everything about Shima and cocktail bar down stairs, Back for sure soon
