    Wir sind uns etwas anderes gewöhnt. Aus unserer Sicht ist der Ablauf falsch. Die Suppe kam zusammen mit dem Hauptgang. Zuerst wurde das Fleisch zubereitet, dann erst der Fried Rice. Heisst die Fleischstücke waren leider bereits wieder kalt, als wir den Reis erhalten haben. Das vor Ort gegebene Feedback wurde aber dankend entgegengenommen.

    The level of service was excellent. Ever present, yet unobtrusive. The entertainment of having food cooked in our presence made it truly memorable. Will have to visit again.

    Initial visit on 14/2/25 was quite disappointing, however the staff were lovely and rectified some of the feedback immediately. Our feedback was well received and Jermyn was disappointed to hear of our experience. We were invited back to experience what this restaurant really has to offer and they didn't disappoint . 8/3/25: The service was exceptional as it was previously, Jermyn, Miai & we had a different Chef, Bun. We selected the KEYAKI menu which was impressive, and did not fall short of the high standard we had heard about. As I don't eat Sashimi they were very accommodating to swap with another dish. You will not leave hungry with the KEYAKI menu !!! Jermyn checked in throughout the evening, thank you for inviting us back, we will definitely be returning. Thank you for listening to our feedback and rectifying, not many restaurants are open to this as you are.

    We had a lovely meal around a Teppinyaki table but it was unfortunate that there were only the two of us on a table for 10 as it is great if you have more people which then incorporates more cooking with chef showing us his skills..

    We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Shiki. The food was wonderful - plump well cooked scallops, delicious sashimi, octopus balls , barramundi and the beef - all delicious. We actually also ordered some udon noodles but decided we didn’t need them so the Chef sent them back and we were not charged for them. Enjoyed talking with our Chef who was very friendly, our Waitress also made good recommendations regarding the wagyu. The only downside, and this is very minor, is that it was quite cold, we all agreed would take a jacket or pashmina type thing next visit.
