Having always been at the heart of Valley life, the 17th century Shibden Mill Inn was originally a corn and spinning mill, before being converted into a country pub in 1890.

Today’s visitors are welcomed with warm hospitality to enjoy first class dining against an inviting backdrop of open fires, low beamed ceilings and a cosy bar. Eleven individually styled bedrooms make comfortable and luxurious retreats, epitomising boutique country style and featuring lots of thoughtful touches.

And if you can drag yourself away from the Inn, there are wonderful walks from the doorstep and world class attractions within easy reach. For a spot of retail therapy or a cultural fix, Halifax is a 10-minute drive and Leeds is just 30 minutes away.

Really nice place, for what you get I don't think it was value for money but as a treat I would not deter anyone from going. Give it a try. The staff and ambience are amazing.

I’ve eaten at the Mill several times and always enjoyed it - but first time with one of my daughters and she was very impressed and we both enjoyed an exceptional meal , so thank you to all the people at Shibden Mill who make that happen

Had a lovely meal with some german colleagues who had never been before . Everybody had a really great night with lovley food and some nice whiskey

The food was superb, all the staff were fantastic and helpful and the general manager Glen could not do enough for us. 10 out of 10 we will definitely be booking again.

The food served was fantastic, cooked perfectly, The service was excellent by both the servers we encountered very, very good, I would definitely recommend.
