Our tasting menu-only experience spotlights the intersection of local agriculture and premium Hansik ingredients, using fresh, seasonal elements with minimal manipulation to honor the environment. These seats offer a unique chance to enjoy our seasonal dishes in an intimate setting. To reserve one of these exclusive bar seats, please email gm@shiarestaurant.org. Due to limited availability, reservations will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will only contact guests who secure a spot. Service was spectacular as was ambience. Very intimate space. Food was a nice take on korean classics. My only qualm is having no inclination of what the cost was prior to arriving as a menu or cost per person was not listed on the website. Cost is almost that of Sushi Nakazawa and some michelin starred restaurants in DC. Yes, food and quality of ingredients were good but the price is steep especially without any forewarning until arrival which was shocking.

It was AMAZING. The best food that we have ever had in our life so far. The way chef Lee reinterpreted many of Korean dishes into his own were just fascinating to taste. Furthermore, waiters and waiteresses were extremely accommodating and understanding to our request. Thank you again.

I loved everything about this restaurant! The food, music, introduction from the bar to the kitchen, the one on one engagement with Chef Ed - thank you for making my birthday so memorable for me and my friends. We went home fully satisfied and belly full!!! We will be back again!

We had such an amazing experience at Shia! Chef Edward was absolutely kind and considerate. The staff were all so warm and sweet as well. The food was so comforting and incorporated so many different textures and flavor profile. We had a great time!

The warm welcome, quick service, and plentiful dishes were all great. The sign was not very big, so I almost passed it by, but that made it even more of a secret~!
