The Stumps also own notable restaurants The Table in Willow Glen, The Vesper in Downtown Campbell, and Forthright Oyster Bar & Kitchen in West Campbell. We went there for brunch and waited 25 minutes for a regular black coffee and almost an hour to get hour food. Disappointed with their service.

We went with another couple for dinner here on Sat 9/14. After being seated and served water, we weren’t approached by a wait person for easily 10 minutes. When the waitress finally took our drink orders, she left and stopped by probably 5 minutes later to see if we wanted appetizers. We ordered the “bread service”, which came out quite quickly. Still no drinks. The bread, foccacia, was tasty, but served in a very hot pan with no sharp knife to cut it. We used our knives but it was not easily cut up. Finished up the bread and the waitress stopped by to tell one in our party the drink he ordered was not available, so he ordered the sangria. It came out in minutes but the rest of us STILL hadn’t gotten our drinks. They finally showed up, right before the food came out. The food was fine but for the price, not the greatest I’ve had. Two had the special steak frites, they both liked it. I had the special scallops on mushroom risotto. It was, again, just fine. Small scallops, not many mushrooms. Another had the tomato salad which she didn’t finish. For dessert we tried the root beef float(very good), profiterole (good) and chocolate cake (fine but nothing special). What made my review less than stellar was the service. It looked like there was literally only 1 server in the whole restaurant. She was in and out the front doors and serving all tables inside. I felt bad for her, but she never apologized for making us wait, which I would think she would have acknowledged. When the bill was brought out (not by our waitress) it was just the bill, not in a “bill holder”, kind of weird. And then our credit cards and the bill sat on the table for another 15-20 minutes until she finally came to take it away. All in all a disappointment. I had much higher expectations for this place.

Inside it was very noisy and very cold. Fortunately, it was a mild evening, so we chose to dine outside. We were the only ones outside, so of course it was quiet. Our servers were attentive and helpful with explaining the menu and helping with the food and wine selections. We chose to have wines by the glass since the choices were more to our liking and the prices were very reasonable. It was my husband's birthday and we were treated to a lovely dessert, complete with candle and "Happy Birthday" scripted in chocolate. It was our first time there and we will definitely go back.

Service was really amazing... we adored our server. Food was very good. Mostly just the ambiance needs work. Too open / not cozy.

Our entrees were decent sizes and we split a salad. Perfect portions and we left full and satisfied! Will be back.

We were seated outside which was very pleasant. Our meal was great and our server Sergio, was great, very attentive!

We had a great Dinner. The special (rockfish in cream sauce) was outstanding but pricey. The service was friendly and great. Our only issue is that they will charge you an extra 3% from credit card payments. It is mentioned on the menu at the bottom in a very tiny print, so it is easy to miss. I think bringing a checkbook (like the '90's) to a restaurant (or cash-who does that any more?) is inconvenient. I rarely see restaurants do this and I was a bit irritated.
