Service was outstanding. Needed more shade as umbrella did not cover enough of the table we were at. Food excellent.

We always enjoy Shaughnessy's for it's location and wonderful food and drink. This time around we were a party of 4 wrapping up a work trip and have to say the service was very chaotic! Understand there seemed to be some training going on and job shadowing but felt there was very little attention paid to our table and it was very difficult to catch anyone's attention to even get another fork, as one of us had dropped ours on the floor. We had to flag down someone for a second drink for one of us, and no one visited the table once our food came to check on us and how things were tasting. Our finished plates and dirty dishes remained on the table even as we paid our bill and got up and left. The food was great, as usual and the drinks we did have were tasty as well.

Great food but very slow service (waited 45 minutes for our food from our order time). Our server was lovely, but that timing of service was off-putting, especially as the restaurant was only half full.

Hello, We had a wonderful experience on Sunday for lunch. Findlay was our server...I have had her as a server multiple times and she is fantastic. No matter how busy it is, her service is outstanding. She is so pleasant, always checking in at the right time through your meal. We will be back for sure. Thanks again Findlay for the amazing service. The food was delicious too. Thank you!

I had the GF Mediterranean bowl. It was very good. My husband had the fish and chips. It was good but the tartar sauce and fish was a bit bland. Great service and the patio was a great place to sit.

Amazing atmosphere and view. The wide open windows at the table was fantastic. Our waiter was phenomenal as was the food!

Had a great experience! Beautiful view from the patio, manager had lots of helpful recommendations and the service was great all around.

Very beautiful venue near water. Fish tacos were great and service was also quick. The live plants are nice but sometimes seem too close to the food tables as they bring little bugs which can be annoying. Otherwise the overall experience was good.

Lovely last minute call to take our visiting cousin from Victoria to Shaughnessy’s Cove. Nice table by the window on the upper level was perfect. Food was outstanding.
